About Wolf

Wolf Appliance was founded in 1934 in Madison, Wisconsin, initially manufacturing commercial cooking equipment for restaurants and institutional kitchens. In 2000, Wolf was acquired by Sub-Zero Freezer Company, which was seeking to expand its luxury kitchen portfolio. The combined Sub-Zero Wolf brand became the defining standard of the American luxury kitchen, with Wolf handling cooking and Sub-Zero handling refrigeration. Wolf's iconic red dual-stacked sealed burner system — available in up to 60-inch configurations — remains the benchmark that all other luxury ranges are measured against. Wolf appliances are manufactured in Madison, Wisconsin, making them among the few luxury appliances still made in the USA.
